Candidates for SFMOMA's expansion
Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 6:13PM SFMOMA has recently been gifted an incredible collection from the Fishers. They have decided to expand three fold due to this and are currently in the process of selecting an architect. Whose on the ballot? David Adjaye, Norman Foster, Diller and Scofidio and Snohetta. SFMOMA's existing building was built by Mario Botta, it will be interesting to see how the selected firm interacts with his monumental creation. This is a video of each of the architects talking about their concerns and ideas regarding the project.
